Blyth Education, simply referred to as Blyth, is a private company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada that offers secondary education and educational credit programs. Blyth Academy is a private post-secondary school with classes in grades 9 to 12. Struggling students and those who have been expelled from their previous institutions, generally from wealthy backgrounds, make up the majority of the student body. The school has three campuses: in the Yorkville and Lawrence Park neighborhoods in Toronto, and in Thornhill neighbourhood in Markham. A new campus will be opening up in the Port Credit neighbourhood of Mississauga. Courses are also held at the Royal Ontario Museum in a joint program with that institution. Nearly 100% of graduates receive first-choice university placements as the institution prides itself on providing a world class education. Tuition ranges from $9,000 to $ 18,000 a year not including International Summer Programs. These programs offer students the chance to visit a variety of exotic destinations while providing limited educational value. The Academy operates on four 2 and a 1/2 month long semesters with 3 two hour periods per day.
The Blyth International Summer Programs offers educational programs outside of Canada. Credits are recognized nationally and internationally and can be applied towards a high school diploma at institutions throughout North America and abroad.. Summmer programs range from $4,000 to $9,000. Destinations include: Mexico, Italy, France, Serbia, Egypt, England, Argentina and Chile, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Romania, Compton, Afghanistan, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, The Amazon, The Galapagos, Bhutan, Hawaii, Costa Rica and various other locations.
Offers secondary school age participants programs of community service work that can be applied to Ontario community service credit requirements.
Provides graduating Canadian high school students with the opportunity to gain admission and full funding to any College at Cambridge University, in any subject except Medicine and Veterinary Studies.
